Our objective is to provide a unique educational environment for students to learn in our "outdoor classroom" about our natural surroundings with an emphasis on agriculture. While we offer fun activities and exhibits for your students to enjoy, we also bring your classroom lessons to life. As a fellow teacher myself, I take pride in following the Tennessee Curriculum Standards through multi-sensory, hands-on interaction and encounters with living things.

Your guided field trip at Autumn Acres consist of 2 to 3 action-packed hours of learning fun. Classes are scheduled to rotate among stations to ensure each group gets the same great experience.

You are welcome to bring a sack lunch, purchase our "Frisbee Lunch Special", or other food choice from our concession stand. There is a Picnic Pavilion for you to enjoy your lunch.

Each School Field Trip Includes:

• An Educational Program
• An Adventure through the corn maze
• A stop at the Country Critters Petting Zoo
• Hayride around the farm with a stop at the Pumpkin Patch
  (each student will get to pick a 4-5lb pumpkin)
• Heart-Pumping Playground Fun!

Trip Tips:

• Bring bottled water & name tags
• Wear appropriate clothing & shoes for the weather conditions
• Pre-assign groups to go together through the maze

We ask that you inform you students & parents of extras that we offer such as dippin' dots, fresh squeezed lemonade, funnel cakes, Autumn Acres T-shirts, souvenirs and much more...

Field Trip Information:

• Available from September 18th until November 2nd, 2013
• Field trips are scheduled Tuesday through Friday, 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
• Cost for field trips is $7.00 per child or adult
• Teacher & bus driver admitted at no charge
• Groups are limited to a minimum of 20 paying guests

*Tax exempt organizations must provide proof of exempt status or sales tax will be added
